Our association meetings, governmental seminars and work unit safety meetings have exposed us to the importance of Hand care and cleanliness.
The threat of MRSA, a flesh eating infection demands a review of safe hands.
►Keep finger nails trimmed and clean
►Wear proper gloves for each task
►Carry and use hand cleaner and hand sanitizer in tool box and vehicle.
►Wash hands and arms thoroughly at end of work day.
►Look at medical personnel handwashing techniques and follow how they do it.
►Use coconut oil soap to prevent chaffing.
►Keep rubbing alcohol and hydrogen Peroxide for first aid applications to cuts and scapes.
